Tea Mocktails That Feel Special (Without the Alcohol)
One of my favorite parts of summer is finding new ways to enjoy tea beyond the traditional iced glass. As our tea blender, I’m always experimenting with fresh ingredients, seasonal fruit, and unexpected flavor combinations.
These three mocktails were inspired by some of our favorite organic teas and are designed to be simple enough to make at home while still feeling like something you’d order at your favorite café.
Whether you’re hosting friends, relaxing on the patio, or just looking for a refreshing afternoon drink, these tea mocktails bring bright flavor and a little creativity to every sip.
Hibiscus Coconut Colada

If you're looking for a tropical drink that's refreshing, creamy, and a little different, you'll love this one.
Our vibrant Hibiscus Flower tea creates a deep ruby color and adds bright tartness that balances creamy coconut milk and coconut cream beautifully. Fresh lime juice keeps everything crisp, creating a tropical drink that’s rich without feeling heavy.
It’s one of my favorite ways to enjoy hibiscus because the floral notes shine while the coconut softens the tea’s natural tang.
A perfect mocktail for hot afternoons by the pool or backyard gatherings.
Ingredients (makes one drink)
- 2oz Hibiscus Flower concentrate
- 3oz unsweetened coconut milk
- 1.5oz coconut cream
- .25oz lime juice
- Lime wheel for garnish
Instructions
Brew Hibiscus Flower at double strength by following the brewing instructions on the package and using twice the amount of tea. Let tea cool. Add the coconut cream, unsweetened coconut milk, and fresh lime juice to a cocktail shaker and shake well without ice until smooth and combined. Fill a glass with ice, pour in the coconut mixture, then slowly pour the hibiscus concentrate to float on top. Stir before enjoying.
Passionfruit Spritz

This one tastes like summer in a glass.
Our Passionfruit Black Tea already has juicy tropical notes, so pairing it with fresh passionfruit, lemon juice, sparkling water, and a touch of agave turns it into something bright, bubbly, and incredibly refreshing.
It reminds me of the kind of sparkling drinks you’d order on vacation - light, citrusy, and just sweet enough.
Ingredients (makes one drink)
- 3oz Passionfruit Black Tea concentrate
- 1.5oz passionfruit juice or puree
- .5oz lemon juice
- .5oz agave nectar
- Sparkling water for topping
- Orange slice and mint for garnish
Instructions
Brew the Passionfruit Black Tea at double strength by following the brewing instructions on the package and using twice the amount of tea. Let tea cool. Add the tea concentrate, fresh lemon juice, agave nectar, and passionfruit juice to a cocktail shaker and shake well until combined. Fill a wine glass with ice, strain the mixture over the ice, then top with sparkling water. Gently stir, garnish with an orange slice and fresh mint if desired, and enjoy.
Blueberry Hibiscus Refresher

This is probably the most refreshing drink of the three. If you’re introducing someone to tea mocktails for the first time, this is the one I’d make. It's simple, easy, and delicious.
Blueberry Hibiscus White Tea has a naturally juicy berry flavor with delicate white tea underneath. Adding fresh lemon brightens the fruit even more while a little agave rounds everything out.
It’s crisp, refreshing, and incredibly easy to drink - perfect for brunches, picnics, or simply cooling off after a long day.
The beautiful ruby color doesn’t hurt either.
Ingredients (makes one drink)
- 6oz Bluberry Hibiscus concentrate
- .5oz lemon juice
- .5oz agave nectar
- Lemon slice and blueberries for garnish
Instructions
Brew the Blueberry Hibiscus White Tea at double strength by following the brewing instructions on the package and using twice the amount of tea. Let tea cool. Add the tea concentrate, fresh lemon juice, and agave nectar to a cocktail shaker and shake well until combined. Fill a tall glass with ice, pour the mixture over the ice, garnish with a lemon slice and fresh blueberries if desired, and enjoy.
Why Tea Makes the Perfect Mocktail
Tea creates depth of flavor that juices and soda alone simply can’t match. Depending on the blend, it can add floral notes, natural fruitiness, gentle tannins, or bright citrus character - all without relying on artificial ingredients.
That’s why I love using our organic teas as the foundation for summer drinks. They’re refreshing on their own, but with a few fresh ingredients they become something that feels truly special.
Whether you’re skipping alcohol or simply looking for a new way to enjoy tea, I hope these recipes inspire your next summer drink.
Cheers!
